Good Evening, it has been sunny but bitterly cold here, had to put my winter coat and gloves on. Went out for lunch, which was lovely, came back and went out into the garden for a little while. Getting anxious, as I have my cancer review next Tuesday.
Meeting my friend Ann tomorrow for lunch in Newcastle, looking forward to it. Shame you are not well enough to go to Parliament Wendy. Glad Warren got sorted out Annie.

Good afternoon,
After months of waiting for someone to get in touch, I have finally fixed a cleaner. She came to see me this morning and I really liked her. I got her through recommendation.

I have been reading this morning and cleaning up so everywhere was clean for the cleaner to look round. How daft am I? do877
I used to have a cleaner many years ago, when I worked but these days, I need one to help with heavy things.
I hope you have a happy day today.

Good morning, it is grey and miserable.

Have some shopping and washing to do, & hoping to start off my blackberry gin and rosehip gin this afternoon.

We are going to our local theatre tonight to see a Kind of Magic, Queen Tribute show & we are having pre-theatre drinks and dinner at their Bistro, which is supposed to be really good food

Hope you have a good day

Yes ,Wendy, I did pick the rosehips, also the blackberries, I foraged 3lb rosehips and at least 6lb blackberries all from the canal bank , also got some apples and cobnuts. It is really easy to make the liqueurs, I will put the recipe on if you like. The rest of the rosehips and some of the blackberries I shall make into jam., I also make blackberry coulis.

The show was great last night, as was the meal. We got the name wrong it is Magic, a kind of Queen, they explain that they are not a copy-cat act, just celebrating Queen's music. They were fabulous, lead singer had a great voice and the band were fantastic, I can thoroughly recommend seeing them, they also do ELO shows.

We have a bit of shopping to do this am & will try & have a walk down the canal this afternoon
Hope you have a good day

Good morning, a cool dull day here, got a few more plants to put away for winter so might do that this afternoon.

That show sounds good Annie, I love ELO and Queen's music, good luck with your Liqueur and Jam making.

good morning,
I have been to the garden centre for a coffee and bought more padding for my small greenhouse and some wallflowers.
I then came home and fitted the padding and did some gardening.
It was very warm, when I thought it would be cold.
I have a long tailed tit sitting on the telephone wire outside my window.
It is beautiful.
Please be patient with me about the change over, things are happening but I have lots to do.
love to all

Good morning, we have some blue sky this am , which is most welcome. Irene has gone back now, so just trying to get back to normal, have a lot of washing to do & try to either tidy garden or make some jam. I am going to attempt aqua-aerobics this afternoon, for the first time in 5 weeks.
Hope you have a good day

Good morning, we had a bit of sun but now it's clouding over just as washing is nearly finished.

I have a very sore eye today and it's all my own fault, last night I went to just rub my eye with my glasses on and poked myself in the eye instead, I grabbed a tissue to hold on my eye and when I took it away it was covered in blood, the white of my eye is now all blood shot.

Good Evening, it has been a lovely autumn day here, a shame it gets dark so early now. Hope you managed aqua-aerobics, this afternoon Annie. Sorry to hear about your eye Mo, do hope it is not as blood shot or as sore. Have been out for lunch, which was lovely. Going to hospital tomorrow for my cancer review, always get anxious about it.

I have some ironing to do & going to make blackberry jam. Hope to go for a walk later on.

Hacked the garden back yesterday, just my pots and fuchsias to do now. The fuchsias are still in flower & it seemed a shame to hack them down, just hope we get a few dry days next month, then I can finish off

Hope you have a good day

This morning I saw our solicitor, and feel much happier now. This afternoon, I have been turning masses of stuff out from the beginning of Chill in 2002.
It was difficult to go through stuff because some of it was nasty but the majority was from lovely carers like all of you stars.
I thank you sincerely for being there for me and keeping chill going when I have not been myself.
I cant tell you how much it means to me, and I really cant thank you all enough.

h###u Wendy

Good morning, it is grey wet and windy, been to the Drs for my steroid injection this am, I was really surprised, it didn't hurt at all. When I had them in my wrist and hip, they were really painful.

Not much else planned for today, as I have to rest my arm for 48hours

Hope you have a good day

Good afternoon. I have not been on Chill for a while so not up to date yet. Have just been admiring the gorgeous picture at the start of the month. Thank you Wendy - those flowers are beautiful, lovely colours.

Weather has been mostly fine this month but today, just as forecast, it is really windy. Early dark too and even more so this weekend as the clocks go back an hour - winter! Garden is getting a battering and will need a good tidy up after the gales.

Good afternoon
It is lovely to see you back daisy but sad that your hubby is so poorly.
Keep strong.
I have been at home today and rested after a few hectic days.
I have been clearing my bathroom out because it is finally being replaced next week. Three different charities have contributed and I have to find some towards it.
I know you have come through this with me over the two years I have been trying to get it done.
The sun is out and it has got my washing dry.
I will be seeing my family next week and then the following week I have my ct scan.
I feel it will be easier to cope with when we know what is making me poorly.
Love to all
Wendy
