What do you think about the milk prices?

Farmers hold 'urgent summit' over milk prices

Farming unions from across the UK have held an "urgent summit" to discuss milk prices, following widespread protests.

Some farmers are experiencing a "crisis" after being paid less than the cost of production, the National Farmers' Union says.

Protests have included removing large quantities of milk from shops and blockading distribution centres.

Supermarket chain Morrisons will meet farming industry leaders on Tuesday to discuss the price row.

I think it is worrying that we may have to import milk when it has always been here in the UK

Farming industry leaders are due to meet bosses of the supermarket chain Morrisons to discuss the price of milk.

They say dairy farmers are struggling to stay in business because of a sharp drop in the amount they are paid.
