Hi everyone, sorry not been on much - busy time for me at the mo. Today I went to one of my scrapbooking groups for the day which I really enjoyed. Tomorrow I am off to the North Norfolk coast with my WI. We're picking up the coach at 8 am and going off to Wells-Next-The-Sea. Some of us are doing a guided walk then meeting those too lazy to walk for a fish & chip lunch followed by a trip to Holkam Hall which is a stately home and looking around the house and walled garden, then home for tea time.

Pauls funeral is on Tuesday (14th), so got that ordeal to go through. I really am missing him very much. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

Good morning, it is grey cool and windy, will that wind never cease?? It has gone on now more or less every day for 2 1/2 months.
I have asked a builder to come and look at the utility room roof & Bill & I have had a major row about it, he cannot see that constantly raining in, near electrics is a problem & prefers to bury his head in the sand & pretend it isn't a problem. It is making me very stressed, I am dreading it , as he can be really obnoxious with workmen as he thinks he knows best & that no-one can do a proper job apart from himself.( In his head , he still thinks he is capable for doing all the building work & does not trust anyone.)

Hope you have a good day

Good morning, it is cloudy and mild, we had lovely sunny afternoon yesterday, but that cold wind still prevails & comes in gusts every 10 min or so, making it too chilly to sit out without a cardi on. I am shopping this am & choir this afternoon. Hope you have a good day

Good Morning, we have had heavy rain, the sun is now trying very hard to peep through the clouds. Had a hard week, fell in the lounge earlier on in the week, and ache in alsorts of places, have been putting Arnica gel. Been up early as phone engineer coming between 8am and 12 noon, he turned up a 8am, so I have done my housework. Going to the Gibside hotel in Whickham for lunch. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, it is grey and threating rain, I have chores and iroing to do.
My grandaughter Rebecca is doing the Mudder Challenge this am for Cancer Relief, she had a wisdom tooth out on Thursday & is still in pain with a face like a hamster, I do hope she is carefuloing to the Big Sing, & doesn't do herself any damage.
Tonight, I am going to the Big Sing, all five choirs (4Secret Singers and our Carers Chorus) are meeting together, we are having a Jacob's Join & drinks at a local sailing club and then we are all going to sing together , it will be awesome, if it stays fine we are going to sing on the landing stage overlooking the lake. I am really looking forward to it, it is a ong time since I had a night out
Hope you have a good day#Love anniexx

First can I say a big thank you to everyone for keeping Chill going.
At least I did not need to worry about this.
It is a glorious day and I hope to sit in the garden.
I had to cancel my trip to Worcester to see the family but they are coming here on Monday to look after me and then I may go back with them.
I sincerely hope you have a lovely weekend.

Good morning, it is horrible today, we have had torrential showers gale force wind & it is really cold
We had a fabulous time at the Big Sing last night, didn't get in until 1/4 to 12, shattered this am & struggled to get up for church, but it was worth it. I am having a rest this afternoon!!!
Hope you have a peaceful day

good afternoon,
that sounds exciting Annie, glad you had a good time.
I think the anti biotics are working as I did not wake until 7.30am today and no sickness.
I shall have some soup and then go back to bed. Thank goodness I have not got to go to work, I would have got the sack.
Thank you to everyone for keeping the forum busy.
love

Good morning,

Bill had an appt at Dermatology Clinic, this am & true to form ,he said he didn't feel up to it, so had to ring & cancel.

The wind seems to have dropped at long last, so it feels a bit warmer today, I couldn't get warm yesterday.

I had to trail down to the papershop again this am as the failed to deliver my Mail, that is 4 times in as many weeks, not pleased as you can imagine

I have to go to Barrowford this am to return some cherries to Booths, which are rotten & growing mould

Not my week this week, the brush on my Dyson is refusing to revolve, so I have had to take it to the repair shop, he said my model the DC40 is tricky ( would be wouldn't it!!), & may be expensive, but will ring with estimate before starting repair. The front glass on my oven's grill has come loose and hangin on by one corner, so need to get someone in to fix that & some of the claws on my engagement ring were standing proud & excoriating my finger, so that has also had to go for repair, . Why is is everything comes at once?

Hope you have a good day

I'm out enjoying the sunshine and having a coffee befor I do shopping. Got a new agency visiting me later to hopefully get more care. I fell a couple of nights ago and couldn't get up but thank goodness for my lifeline. Lovely paramedic used an inflatable cushion to get me up. I hope everyone is okay xx

good morning,
Debs, I hope you are feeling better, different people have said I should get a life line, I dont know what to do.
Last night in the garden my daughter and Max could hear the swifts flying above and I could not hear them, so I must have some wax in my ears.
I am hoping to go with Fiona to a funeral this morning.
love to all
