news artical re bookstores

Postby Honey » 08 Jun 2015, 01:28

I miss good bookstores, I used to like spending time browsing shelves for interesting books.
Amazon is great but nothing can compare finding something on a shelf that may be old but interesting .
Our local library doesn't have many classics on show anymore, they have to be ordered from other libraries , or searched for in the basement.
Do you miss bookshops?

this is wonderful, thank you Honey.
At Blickling Hall, they have a very good second hand book shop, but I have had to stop myself going into the shop as I have too many books already.
I think I will go in next week, as like you say, I love the feel of books, and the excitement of a good browse round.
