It is delicious,
I scrub it, & top & tail it & roast from raw with skin on.
If they are small ( golf ball size), you can roast it whole, I spray it with olive oil and roast for 1 hour. You can do it open or wrap loosely in foil. If you want to cook it at same time as potatoes, cut into pieces about 1/4 size of your potatoes,
