Yarnbombing .......

Postby chenrezig » 06 May 2015, 17:30

I had my first go at Yarnbombing this morning.

When I got into work I put the pair of eyeballs I had knitted in the skull of one of the Tutor's skeletons this was just after 8am.. no-one noticed til 1.50pm !!!!

When they realised it was me did it ... I got asked "Can you knit him a cigar?" So guess what I am doing tonight ?

I would have taken a photo, but as there are lots of files lying around I didn't want it to be misunderstood, I will ask tomorrow once he/she/it has its cigar ...

I don't know about happy lol

I was dissapointed it wasn't spotted sooner, but I got the last laugh when one lady realised she had been sitting with it peering over her shoulder all morning and not noticed the two over-sized eyeballs watching what she was doing.

I have just finished my cigar -I did some red on one end for when it glows and put a little band on it, and pulled a little bit of stuffing out so it looks like smoke

Here we are ... the white sqaures are where I edited so not to give away where it was - the chap who uses it on his sports course has asked me to knit a little heart to put in it !

that is brilliant Liz. The cigar looks so real.

He looks a bit thin to me maybe you could knit him a jumper to keep the chill out of his old bones! do877
