Paracetamol ‘no good for back pain'

Postby annie » 01 Apr 2015, 08:38

I could have told them this!!!!! lol

Paracetamol is ineffective at treating back pain and osteoarthritis despite being a recommended treatment, a group of Australian researchers has warned.

Their review of 13 clinical trials, published in the British Medical Journal, said the drug did not reduce disability or improve quality of life.

I take Ibuprofen for any pain which I buy myself.

I had intravenous paracetamol when i was in hospital and that was really good.

paracetamol seems to be the main painkiller that is thrown at every illness.
