BUDGET CUTS: Fears for pupil safety as lollipop patrols axed

FUNDING for East Lancashire’s 148 lollipop men and women has been axed.

The move, pushed forward by tough county council cash cuts, has sparked fears among governors and teachers about children’s safety.

that is terrible, they are talking about closing toilets in a town in Norfolk.
Surely these are good examples for private companies to take up but how would the lollipop people make their money?
