Touching video documenting brave boy's fight against cancer

Brave Oscar Rudolf had just reached his fifth birthday when doctors discovered a cancerous tumour in his pelvis described as 'the size of a tin of baked beans.

Since April last year, he has endured countless blood transfusions, 13 bouts of chemotherapy and eight weeks of pioneering radiotherapy to shrink the large lump.

But a new video documenting his inspiring battle will leave you marvelling at how one so young can display such incredible bravery... and feeling more than a little emotional.

Bringing together touching pictures and clips documenting a year spent fighting cancer - including chemotherapy, proton therapy, radiotherapy and numerous blood transfusions - the beautiful video paints the picture of a family finding joy in even the darkest moments.

To mark 12 months of Oscar’s remarkable recovery, his doting dad has vowed to give something back to the charity which helped fund his son’s treatment – by running six marathons in just six days.

Amateur runner James Rudolf, a software business director, is set to tackle the gruelling London Marathon on Sunday, April 26, reports Wales Online
