85year old's mobility scooter stolen

AN elderly veteran has been left devastated after his mobility scooter was stolen from outside the front door of his home.

Former Royal Marine George Marsden, 85, had the scooter taken from outside his home in Pheasantford Green, Burnley.

It was later found dumped in Queen’s Park with its tyres slashed, seat broken and wiring ripped out.

That is disgusting, I hope someone will fix it for him. There are some nasty people out there, I wonder what they get out of it.

I wish I had the money to get him a new one.

I despair sometime at the evil in the world.

Luckily there are nice people too.
