I was glad to get home, good job I put my waterproofs on. In for the rest of the day now, Have some ironing & cleaning to do. Hope you have a good day

Good afternoon, we have a clear blue sky but it is bitterly cold and windy, not much happening here just the usual housework and washing which I've put out and looks like it's getting dry.

Keep yourself warm these cold days.

Good morning, a sunny chilly day here again, I've been to Morrisons and stocked up a bit and next week I'll go to Sainsbury's to get the bits I prefer from there and we should then be OK if weather turns bad.

Good Morning, very cold and windy here but bright, have done some housework and put some cards up. Enjoy your art class Wendy, I am meeting my friend this afternoon. Another friend is worried as her mother in law who is 72 years old was putting cards up and fell and broke her shoulder, so was having an op on Wednesday, will find out on Friday how it all went. Wrap up and keep warm.

Saw something lovely this am, I was on my way into work (for those of you who don't know I have finally got a little paty-time job) and my office is based beside the river in Norwich.

As it is so cold, I got some of my old (brown bread) to feed whatever birds happened to be there ..

There were two big swans already there and who couldn't get the bread down fast enough! A few moments later I found out why. I spotted two more swans by a bridge. The swans by the bridge spotted the other two I had been feeding .. boy did their feathers and wings fluff up! Then they took off, literally as they flapped down the river towards where I was and landed and "skiied" to a stop a few feet from me. - The other two had very speedily retreated when they spotted the others.

The "boss pair" then turned to face each other and started bobbing heads and neck-turning ..it was lovely to watch it for real rather than see it on TV, and very close to as well.

that was so nice, I will think of it happening, whilst I have my tea.
I went to my art class this morning, and we had a Christmas party.
I have started my painting for World War 1
then I went to Lidles and then to an art shop, where I bought some crayons.
I came home and had a rest and now going to get my tea.
My next painting is from a poem, about a new suit. I will find you the poem.
anyway, keep warm and dont get blown away.
love

Good morning, it is bright and cold & the wind has dropped at last.
I am spitting feathers this am!! Bill should have had his appt this am to see about the further excision re his melanoma , to arrrange date for the surgery , biopsies and scans. I got up early, humped the wheelchair into the car, chivvied him along to get ready ( he is always late, which gets me stressed), finally went to get ready & then told me he didn't feel up to going as he had the runs, Frustrating. Had to unload the wheelchair again, ring the clinic & then Preston to rearrange, who said they couldn't do it as he was still on system, so will send out appt. God knows when that will be. I think he just didn't want to go, head in the sand, like he is with the HNPP. Moan over!1
Hopeyou have a good day

I have had my biopsy results and they were clear so I can have my bits whipped out in february. he has agreed to do it via key hole so i recover quicker. I explained my situation and he was great. he wanted to do it c section as he does it alone but will get 2 assistants in for me!! I feel so special, plus it is at the private nuffield hospital too! (i'm going NHS though!!)

I will try and get in more, but may need the days extending by a couple of hours a day and one more day in the week!!!

love to you all my lovely friends

Good afternoon, a bright sunny day but quite cold, suppose it's expected this time of year.

Went and done a bit more shopping and got the 2 holly wreaths I wanted to take up the churchyard just before Christmas.

Keep yourself wrapped up warm.

Good afternoon folks

Sorry I haven't been on line for a good while. Computer problems of course then hubby's deteriorating health, he is now totally housebound and in addition to the health problems, his dementia is getting rapidly worse - so sad!

I haven't yet caught up with how you are all getting on but hope to catch up again. I think I sent Wendy a PM but not sure if I did that right.

Hard frost here all day, very slippery underfoot, so it will be very cold overnight.

Just back from a Carol Concert in aid of charities including Door to Door for who I volunteer on one of the ten minibuses that we have... Boy, it is freezing out there, the wheels slipped once when we drove off after a passenger drop-off!

On the plus side .. in just under 20 mins I have seen FOUR shotting stars -amazing things to se ..

Off to bed now to thaw out lol.

Sleep peacefully everyone

Hubby now in bed so I've just popped in for a wee while. I must say that the new site looks great although it will take a wee while for me to be better acquainted with it. BIG THANKS to all involved in planning and doing all the work involved.

Good morning, a dull one here but it is dry so I've put washing out.

I've just got the usual chores to do today, nothing much happening.

Hope the day is kind to you.

Still cold here today but at least the sun shone for about an hour this afternoon. I popped out for a short walk and admired the lovely waves at the beach. Not many people out walking today - I expect many of them are tackling the crowded shops for Christmas shopping.

Hope Wendy is feeling better today.
