Some people

If you only knew how much work goes into just one person receiving a free laptop or PC tablet.
I had a social worker phone me to say she had a carer needs a tablet.
I have to phone the carer and ask certain questions and then send out a form.
Well the form has come back and she had ticked that she has a computer.
When I phoned her she said yes, I offered her lessons, which she told me she did not need.
But she said the social worker had said, a tablet would be nice for her to take out and about when she left the home.
Our computers are for getting a family carer on the internet because of their caring role they do not leave the home, and are feeling forgotten and alone.
I cannot believe this social worker has caused all this work, the woman took the form to her GP and he filled it in for her.
At the top it says they are for family carers who do not have a computer and cannot afford to buy one.

It's funny that Social Workers are suggesting clients ask for computer even though they already have one and yet we hear all the time how difficult (impossible?) it is for carers to get the help they really need from Social Workers.
