The Naked Village

Nestled in a small area just outside St Albans, sits Spielplatz, the UK's only Naked Village.

As one of Europe's oldest naturist resorts, it is home to residents who live their lives totally naked and who can't understand why the rest of the clothed world covers up.

But all is not rosy in the village. With an ageing population, crumbling facilities and property developers waiting to pounce, the villagers' way of life is under threat.

Two of Spielplatz's residents are here today, widower George Tait, and his neighbour Heather Jones, who lives there with her partner Neil. They're here to talk about their naturism, the need to attract new, younger visitors - and the documentary which focused on their special community.

The Naked Village airs on More 4 on Thursday 11 December at 9pm
