Hi, On Tuesday Paul went into respite for 2 weeks to give me a much needed break. I popped in to visit him yesterday afternoon and he was cheerful and chatty. Three hours later - I get a call from respite home saying they didn't think he was very well. I rushed down and we got a Dr. out and he gave him antibiotics. This morning they rang to tell me they'd dialled 999 and ambulance was there. I eventually got home at 4.30 from hospital. They've kept him in.

Oh dear Sheila I am sorry to hear Paul is back in hospital again, do they think he has infection/UTI if they have given him anti-b's, thinking of you and hope Paul will be alright.

Last night he had a fever and was burning up but shivering, apparently he brightened up later after having antibiotic. This morning his skin turned almost orange while they were washing him and he kept being very sick, which is why they got ambulance. He carried on being sick all the time we were in A&E and they couldn't get a line into any of his veins to rehydrate him. In the end they gave him an injection to stop him being sick. They asked me if I'd had a tummy bug, but I've been fine. I'll keep you posted on his progress.
