Good morning, it is grey and drizzling. I have lots of last minute bits to do this am & taking Warren to Preston Royal Infirmary this afternoon for the 2nd injection into his cervical spine. One more sleep to go, I am exhausted & can't wait to get away for 2 weeks in the morning.

I have done a deep clean of the lounge and bathroom today. So just my room to do. Then Liv is having her room decorated when Sam leaves so I had better eat my weetabix to do that big job!!

I had a terrible night with lots of pain, I think it was all the excitement.
Today I am meeting a friend for coffee, so that will take my mind off things.
I have sent Bernie a birthday ecard but we wont start one on the forum, because she isnt visiting and she did not reply to my phone call.  I was concerned that something was wrong.
It looks like she has moved on.

good morning,
I am feeling much better after a good nights sleep.  I know what caused me to be poorly, I dont drink but I bought a bottle of Peach wine, and I was taking a glass in the evening with my meal.
this started the pain and then when I could not sleep I was really poorly.
anyway, I did not have a glass last night and didnt have any pain.
It was delicious as well.
anyway I am starting my art class today. so hope you will be ok.

Evening all,

I am missing you all so much and feel awful for not being in much.

Another day has just slipped through my fingers! Sam has 9 days until she goes and there is packing, supplies and lots to do.

In between this the suspension went on my car!! The lump in my throat has flared up and is causing my ear to ache and my bulky womb is causing a few issues too!!! Too much information there I think!!!  do877

so car is now sorted thank goodness. the chaps at the garage I used were glad to get me out of their office I think!! I was a bit of a wreck that day!!

after I drop Sam off I have to get down to some study. i have my intermediate first person on scene course then. it is 4 days long and a written and pracatical exam too. So totally stressed!! So October will be my month of rest I think!!! Or rather I wish!!  do877

Good morning, how could we possibly forget you Jane, sounds like you are rushed off your feet and stressed, life will settle down again.

A cloudy day here, just been and took flowers up the churchyard and nipped into homebase to get another tin of fence paint as I ran out, while in there they had a few reduced plants and there was some coconut tree ( cocos nucifera) plants reduced to 50p each so I brought 2.

Life is still difficult here and struggling with filling care hours. I have a few hours off today and managed to get a hair dressers appointment to cheer myself up. Hoping next week will start to get better xx

I didn't think it would be warm enough for a coconut tree Mo. That is really interesting. I have always wanted to shin up a coconut tree maybe you can make my dream come true, but I will wait til it grows a bit first!!  452

Good afternoon,  I had another lie-in this morning, and went to see Paul at 2pm.  He didn't seem very cheerful and just wanted to sleep so I left him after about 15 minutes.  Most of the visits I've had with him he seems very negative, I'm trying hard to cheer him up by telling him all the things he's got to look forward to, but nothing seems to brighten his mood.  I hope he can come home next week, then we can start getting back to normal

So sorry Paul wasn't happy  Sheila but when Mark was in hospital  he said he was so lonely and the lack of  being able to do things when HE wanted was frustrating. Hope he's home soon. Lazy, quiet day here but at least the weather is good! Have a good weekend everyone xx

been to town this morning to pick up Liv's Gok Wan glasses and contacts. She is over the moon with her geeky glasses. They do look lovely. Did the food shop so we can eat again!!Lol

I will wait til your lovely bunch of coconuts are good and ripe Mo!!  ju765 I'm the same height as the tree at the moment so not much shimmying will be needed I think!! If your nuts go missing though I may have scrumped them!!!  452



Sorry Paul isn't feeling very bright. It is hard trying to help someones mood when they are that low. Maybe getting home will give him the boost he needs to see things more positively. Thinking of you Sheila.

good morning all.

What a beautiful day.

Tony is back in hospital after my care worker found him on the floor, he is ok

the ambulance people thought he had a stroke so they took him to Worcester Hospital.

he has had lots of tests and found he has a chest infection and his sugar level is far to high.

So I only have Audrey to look after at the moment.  I am really looking forward to another break

but must get Tony back home and sorted first.
