Good afternoon, we've just had a thunder storm and a down pour  l78h

Derek got his MRI results, there is no ligament or tendon damage but they said he has badly bruised bones, Dr is contacting Orthopedic dept to see what can be done as his foot is swollen and painful when he walks.

Good morning, it is grey and drizzling, at least that awful wind has dropped. Doing some washing, then we are having a walk down the canal & some local shopping to do. Hope you have a good day

Good morning my busy bees,

Sam rolled in after 3am. So proud!! I said are you going out to celebrate she said she couldn't be bothered!! Some student she will make!!! Anyway around 10pm she announced she thought she might pop out for a few!! So faith is restored!! I did think she would do her whole uni years on a cup of tea and a onsie!!!

Today I am going on a mad cleaning spree. Well it is my plan however I haven't quite kick started yet!!! Well its the thought that counts!!!

Thinking of you all and about to get revved up to clean! yey me!!!!

good morning, it is grey and windy with heavy rain forecast. I am going to see War Horse at the Lowry Theatre  with the carers, it is only costing us £10, it would have cost that just for the coach, so I feel very fortunate. Hope you have a good day

Good morning, the weather is awful  - cold  wet and gale force winds, the wind has pullled my hanging  basket bracket  out of the wall complete with basket full of my tumbling tomatoes ( no pun intended). Luckily it landed on the seat below, but it took me 20 mins to untangle the mess and extricate each truss that had slotted itself neatly through the slats in the chair . I have put it in a bowl in the porch for now, I only lost a handful of green tomatoes, thankfully'

I came home to really bad family news last night, Bill's oldest sister 'Florence's altzheimers had accelerated & as had to go in a nursing home as her son can no longer cope & then his other sister Joan rang saying her husband was now terminally ill & not expected to live more than couple of days. he was fit & healthy until  a week ago when he suddenly developed stomach pains. He went in hospital & they found stage 4 cancer & suddenly deteriorated yesterday. We are in shock.

Good afternoon, spent the morning at my sister-in-laws, they are devastated as you can imagine. Funeral is not until 28th  as waiting for grandson David to return from Thailand.

Irene & I have been for long walk down canal, mixed weather, sunshine & showers, but at least the gale force wind has been tamed!!!

It has given me a lot of work to do, because I am trying to tidy up the sticky posts.

Hello everyone. Lovely and sunny today but very windy!! Mark  is sleeping which seems to be most the time now. He gets so frustrated and angry which upsets me. Some days everything is 'wrong' and he constantly shouts at me. I have overnight care tonight so that takes the pressure off. I hope everyone has a nice day.

Afternoon all,

Had a lovely day on the boat with my friends and Liv came too. We cleared alot of rubbish so the canal is shiny and lovely!! Liv did a lot of the steering and moored us at the pub for a picnic lunch. I was a little devil and had a coffee!!! We found a damson tree and have picked plenty to make a crumble with tomorrow. The tree was heaving.

Had a nice bath so I smell nice again!! Liv has football training in a bit so she is trying to find all her kit after the summer break!!

Totally shattered and another busy day tomorrow! Keeps me out of mischief though!

I really feel for you Debz, it isn't nice to be the brunt of a love ones frustration with such behavior. As much as you try to rationalize it it still hurts. Thinking of you and here if you want to talk.
