LANCASHIRE is in the running to be named the best UK holiday destination.
The competition by the British Travel Awards 2014 will be decided by visitors to the area, who are being encouraged to cast their votes.
Those wishing to vote for Lancashire will find www.visitlancashire.com in the UK/domestic holiday sector, where they can also vote in other categories including best leisure attraction best heritage attraction and best holiday resort.
