Rolf Harris guilty

Veteran entertainer Rolf Harris has been found guilty of indecently assaulting four girls.

The 84-year-old was convicted of 12 attacks between 1968 and 1986.

One of the alleged victims was a childhood friend of his daughter, Bindi. Another was aged seven or eight.

During his seven-week trial, prosecutors portrayed Harris as a "Jekyll and Hyde" character, who had a dark side to his personality. He will be sentenced on Friday.

On Friday 4 July Rolf Harris was jailed for five years and nine months after being found guilty of 12 indecent assaults against four girls - including one aged just seven or eight.

Last weekend, Linda Nolan and Vanessa Feltz revealed that they too had been victims of Rolf Harris.

Vanessa joined us after Thursday's show to tell us why she went public about the abuse in the hope that others may find the courage to do the same but has been shocked by the public backlash she has received online.

Why didn't she speak up during the trial and before the sentencing?

Sounds odd to me.

Still think he should have got much longer in jail

Why ever didn't she speak up earlier, unless she waited till now for the publicity.
