98-year-old Pauline Dale had never used a computer before this year but, thanks to a project run by local Age UKs, Pauline is proving it's never too late to get online.

Pauline has been taking part in 'Online at Home', an initiative that 12 local Age UK's have been running. The scheme teaches older people how to use a computer to help them stay connected with friends, family and find useful information online.

Pauline is absolutely delighted with her new-found skills. She said, "I can send and recieve emails now and I can look people up on Google! It opens the world up to you so you don't feel so isolated."

Online at Home is an intiative that is supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The foundation is a world-leading international philanthropic organisation, making grants in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and medicine and social welfare
