I hope you get sorted out Honey, I had to replace my fridge freezer just 4 weeks ago, we ordered one from a place called www.ao.com at 6pm in the evening and it was delivered at 9am next morning.

everyone for your replies.
I checked my insurance policy, but as the freezer was some years old it wasn't covered. the contents were, but there is a large  excess on the policy that made it unviable to claim.
anyway, I called a local trusted trader who I have known for many years, he has a  little shop nearby supplying electrical appliances , and he repairs them himself.
he had in stock a fridge freezer that was just the size, I wanted.
within 2 hours I had a replacement delivered free of charge and fitted. no loss of freezer contents as they hadn't defrosted.
i checked prices on line of the freezer afterwards from various big multi suppliers.....
guess what
it only cost me 20.00 more than buying it from any of them, and i got it quicker.
i  always  try to support my local traders.

that is great, it is always good to find a trusted local person, sometimes they are not any good or cost a fortune.

Glad you are fixed up now, where I got mine from was free delivery as well,
the local appliances shops I've seen are far to expensive around here and don't have the choices of large outlets.
