It goes across the Tyne from Gateshead to Newcastle, it is lovely to walk across it.

please forgive my ignorance, but is it straight when you walk over it or is it curved?
is it just for walking and cycling?

It is straight when you walk over and only becomes curved when ships need to go up or down the Tyne and it is closed to the public while this is going on. It is only for pedestrians and cyclists.
