Hotter than Corfu – it will be a real scorcher in Norfolk this weekend

Its time to bask in the sunshine once again with the county set predicted to be hotter than Corfu this weekend as the hottest day of the year arrives.
The south of England and East Anglia are set to see the best of the weather with forecasters predicting that temperatures could hit as high as 23C on Saturday making it hotter than Corfu which has predicted temperatures of 18C.

Steve Western from forecasters Weatherquest, based at the University of East Anglia, said: “This weekend will probably be the warmest spell of weather we have had so far this year. It will feel very muggy and humid though.
