good morning,
thank you I am feeling much better.  I picked some red roses out of my garden and have them in my lounge.  It is weird picking them so early in the year when it is still cold outside.
It will soon be the longest day.

Good morning, it is cold , wet and windy here again &  a miserable 10 degrees, although the icy wind makes it feel much colder!

I am going to Paula's today to take her a big bag of veg, I am awash with it, as Bill isn't eating very much , then I am calling to see my daughter-in-law Debbie, it is her birthday tomorrow & I have a card & money for her. This afternoon, I have my ironing  to do

Been a very quiet morning with Mark still sleeping!  Tesco home delivery due soon then carer in over tea time. It's so cold today and very windy so Dudley has decided to stay indoors!! Hope everyone has a good weekend xx

Good Afternoon, have had rain, then sunshine, more rain, now it is sunny and warm. Have been into the village and had a look at bedding plants for my hanging baskets. The plants in my basket are passed there best, so might get them sorted next week.  fl8888

Glad to hear you are feeling better Wendy. Trying to sum up the energy to do some housework or wether to nip into the back garden while it is sunny and tidy it up.  Hope everyone is having a good day.

Another week

Morning all,

My first dollop of fertilizer has arrived!! Sam and her flipping ironing!! (see posting of washing!!)

Alivia has set off this morning to do her first SAT exam. Poor little mite, she about shook out the door with nerves! I made her a special breakfast of a poached egg on a crumpet with a bit of red sauce in the shape of a heart. So she is set for the day! I feel nervous for her. I thought once you finished your own exams you didn't get nervous. I go through it all again with my girls!!

Totally shattered but will put that in another post! Bored you all enough as it is!

Good morning, it is cool and grey, but at least it is fine  so far, the first time for 8 days!
Hope Alvia does ok Jane, it is a terrible feeling the pre-exam nerves.
I have a trip to the vets with Boris for his routine bloods, I am hoping he stays on the same dose of carbimazole, as he appears well and has put weight on.

How did Bethany feel after her first exam? Liv was grateful it was over! She has more today bless her. So fingers crossed again. My nerves can't take much more of these let alone theirs! Sam's exams start soon too!

Off on the canal today so that will do me good. Then i have my niece tomorrow! Lee has his mental health team coming today. i am so grateful to them. i hope they continue to make progress as it is certainly having an effect.

Good morning, it is grey and miserable, it actually stopped raining in the afternoon  yesterday & I finished my planting at last.  I have Pilates this am & trip to the vets to pick up Boris' prescription. His bloods were fine yesterday & he is continuing on same dose & doesn't need to return to the vets for 6 months, which was very good news.  I'll order his pills this afternoon, she said she would write up 100, to be repeated 3 times, which means the prescription will last 6 months & will be a lot cheaper they are almost half price in 100s.

I am determined to become vegetarian.
I bought some new bras and a top.
They hadnt got my size in the bra, so I hope what they suggest will fit.
I am trying to have a rest today, so off into the garden now to read the paper.

Good afternoon, it is a lovely day although we still have that sneaky cool wind.

The choir session was really hard work, we were working with someone from Lancashire County Council to make a video to promote their new Spread a Little Sunshine Campaign.  We were to sing Bring me Sunshine, with a 2 part harmony & half of the peoples there had never been in a choir, & our choir leader was not with us. We had 2 hours to get it together. I have to say we all thought it would not work, but eventually, we produced a final version that was passable, but we thought, definitely not up to our choir's standard, so we have no idea what it will be like .It will be going on utube sometime next week
