Once again the internet and press is full about the horrific treatment by some cruel paid carers.
It is indeed sickening to read and hear about and needs to be stopped, for who knows whose parent or child, will be treated in a similar terrrible way.!
Once again the general public will read the word 'carer' and tarnish family home carers with the same brush.
However will we get any financial help when the word 'carer' has such a bad name.
We must also remember the many, many thousands of good paid carers who every day do their work with love and with pride.  They should be on the front pages of the newspapers.
tha22222 tha22222 tha22222 to the good paid care workers and the thousands of unpaid family carers who save the country billions of pounds every year.  Please do not forget them.

It is getting terrible, when someone say the word carer you don't know if they mean paid or unpaid, there should be a change in name so everyone know the difference so unpaid family carers are not tarred with the same brush.

Can you believe there has been a terrible incident in a Norwich care home and a paid care worker has been arrested.
