Afternoon all

It was boating day today but my friend and I got too comfy and went for breakfast instead!! This means we will have to go out on Thursday come rain or shine to make sure the canal is looking it's best for the boat show this weekend!

Just been filling in Sam's student finance forms! Got a headache now! they kept asking about incapacity benefit which obviously doesn't exist any more! You would think they would update it!!

Off to get Lee's prescription. It may even been correct!! I am the eternal optimist!!

Good morning everyone, dull, cloudy start to the day here. Will wait and see if the sun appears. Got my bed stripped and bedding in the washer, also got a bit of ironing to do. Got audiology this afternoon to get another hearing test, also got our belated Easter Meal tomorrow so loads of prep to be done for that. Hope the day is kind to you all, take care, love Berniexx

Going to pick up the kit bag today for the community responder shift on Friday. i am flying solo in the afternoon so please think of me! I am nervous but need to do it on my own now or I never will. Fingers crossed everyone is fit and healthy that day!!!! lol

Liv has a football match tonight which has thrown me out as it is usually on  a Sunday!

Good morning, it is grey and miserable  out there & a good deal colder. I have shopping to do today & Rebecca, my granddaughter is coming for tea after work, so looking forward to that. She was over the moon yesterday, as her estranged dad, who lives in Spain, deposited £5000 in her bank account. Sounds great doesn't it?? However, , not really as it was promised for her 21st birthday present, to help towards for a deposit on a place of her own - that was 6 years ago - she is now 27!!!!!!!

Better late than never Annie!! I bet she had given up hope hadn't she?

Off to the hair dressers in a moment. it is time for long hair to go again. Ready for my summer coat!! IEvery few years I grow it long then get fed up with it!!

This afternoon me and my new hair will be flying solo for the first time with our defib and kit bag in our smartly pressed uniform to assist the lovely people of Loughborough and surrounding area!! Absolutely terrified but training will kick I'm sure!!!

Me and Dudley are chilling together while Marks sleeping! How I would love to be a cat-can't believe he is almost  a year old already!! Hoping to go out later but it looks like rain is on it's way. I have grown my hair long as well Jane and keep thinking of having it all chopped off but I quite like it long. Have a lovely day everyone xx

Asda was packed because it is a Bank Holiday weekend.  I don't know why they have to go mad and buy like the world will end.
Mind you, I got 3 packs of bedding plants for £5 so I am very happy.

I am going to pick Irene up at the bus station shortly, she is staying  for 10 days this time, so really looking forward to it. We are meeting Yasuyo, Kay and my daughter for a celebration lunch for my birthday later on.

Just popped in ot say hi.

i have got a stinking cold (thank you Samantha!!) and feeling very sorry for myself!!

Did have to laugh about the Tesoc chocolate moving!! My mum used to complain about this and I did when i had kids!! I'm 45 now my eldest is 19 so tesco don't go in for snap decisions then!!
