Hi Everyone,
It's been such a long while since I've posted here. I'm still alive lol.
We've had a lot going on. My boy is now going through transition from children's services to adult. It's a sodding minefield.
I'm also going to college re-doing my GCSE's as my grades were rubbish when I was younger. I'm doing 2yrs work in 9 months and it's not easy. I'm doing Maths, English, Sociology, Biology and Psychology. I'm doing ok so far, but struggling a lot with maths, Algebra totally screws up my brain and Psychology is mind numbingly boring. It's a lot different to when I did GCSE's 27yrs ago. It's so much harder.
However, my other subjects I'm doing well at. Currently I'm at:
English - Grade A
Biology - Grade C
Sociology - Grade B
I keep getting D's and E's for Pyschology and Maths. I'm hoping for a good exam in both of those and hope the old brain works ha ha.
As you can imagine studying and caring at the same time is difficult, But I'm managing. Thing is, the college aren't helpful at all or really understanding. If you don't get homework in on time you get disciplinary action taken against you.
One think I want to ask is, as a carer do I have rights at college?
Sorry for waffling on
