Sometimes things do get done!

We have just got back from the mental health unit.

Lee was really anxious that he would have to see a new consultant as they have all moved around and changed premises. He wanted to get up and go.

So glad he didn't. It was someone new and he was marvelous. He was great with Lee and me. He is changing his anti depressants and contacting the doctors to get him checked out as he has been taking opiates for so long he was so annoyed Lee hadn't had any blood tests to check his liver and kidney function nor had an ecg to see if there was any damage to his heart.

He is now dealing with the cognitive behaviour team who should of taken him on but wouldn't. He was on the war path to make sure Lee got all the support he needs.

Plus he was lovely with me and gave me his secretary's number in case I needed any help or had concerns.

It may have taken several years but we finally came out of a meeting with a smile!!
