We have the Bluebell Railway steam train near us and you can go on scenic ride and even have a meal on it. I have never been but it was something we meant to do befor Mark got too ill. I do live travelling by train except when you have people on phones or listening to music that is too loud (think I'm just getting old!!)

I have happy memories of steam trains, when I was a very young the train use to go past the bottom of our garden laden with coal, I use to watch it everyday.

Just love that picture  tha22222

I loved steam trains, we lived near the engine sheds, &  we used to go down to the sidings when we were kids, and watch the engines shunt in and out, we thought it was really exciting.
