Million sickness benefit applicants 'fit for work'

Nearly a million people who applied for sickness benefit have been found fit for work, according to figures from the Department for Work and Pensions.

While I abhor the amount of leeches and scroungers who are just to idle to work and are pretending to be ill, many  who are genuinely unfit to work are deemed fit after these tests, which don't always fit the person's disability,
