I'm a relative new comer to the site, but can't tell you how much it means to me to have the support of people in the same position.  You have all seen me through my darkest hours with John's illness and then passing away.  It is such a comfort to communicate with you all and to know that you truly understand how I am feeling.  I can understand how Wendy feels, and I wish her well in her retirement, but do hope that the site can continue with all of our support.  I cannot always post as often as I want to but you are all always in my thoughts and prayers.  Cynthia XXXX tha22222

I fully agree with all that has already been said in the above replies and hope that the changes planned for the next year will work out well so that Chill can continue to function, albeit in a changed format.

I have received an email from the man who wants to help us keep Chill4us Carers running.
He has passed on some ideas for us to work on, and our committee will be meeting with him in March to discuss the future.

We have come to a standstill, so today I have written 4 begging letters for money, to keep us going.
These forms are long and I find it greatly tiring.

We had a really good managers meeting today, when we discussed our carers community.
Do you have any good ideas what we could do this year for carers week in June?
We have had parties, done knitting, and had meet ups in the previous years.
CAn you think of something different that we could do.
