Good afternoon everyone. It's amazing how just going out for a bit has cheered me up! I'm sat in costas with a lovely latte and panini. We have overnight care tonight so I'm able to just to my own stuff for a while xx hope everyone is having a nice day. I'm not not really buying in the sales except gift tags and paper but there is certainly a lot of spending going on looking at the number if bags people are walking around with.

Good afternoon

Liz, please have another look and check your lottery ticket - last week someone near us had the identical sum except there were three zeros on the end - what a difference that would make!

I did some quick shopping at Tesco this morning - then District Nurse came to replace hubby's catheter (they do that every three months and it has to be done by nurse or doctor).  She also did his INR blood test to determine the Warfarin dosage for the next week.

I am slowly getting back to normal although still rather tired.  Hope everyone is managing today.

Just a quick Good morning from me - hubby is not very well - very little sleep last night and he is poorly this morning.

Good afternoon, it is sunny for a change, I am going to go for a walk this afternoon, if it stays fine. I've cleaned the bathroom & kitchen & just had some lovely cabbage and chorizo soup made by my granddaughter Rebecca. Hope you are having a peaceful day

Afternoon all, a bright sunny day here but it is very cold, there was a sharp frost overnight, pavements were white this morning.

I think my mobile phone has got a gremlin in it, in middle of the night I was woken by the sound of my phone turning off, when I checked it it wasn't off, it spooked me.

Sorry I haven't been around as much as usual. Lee has been poorly and the computer is in our bedroom so I can't pop in in case I disturb him. He is a bit brighter today and up so here I am.

Sorry to hear about your hubby Daisy. Must be so hard when you are recovering yourself.

Hope you ahd a better nights sleep Wendy.

Sam and I had a good long walk this morning so feel a bit less bloated!! The girls and I are hoping to go to the sales tomorrow so i hope there is some nice things left!!

Good morning it is cold wet and windy. I have to make a rip to the vets today with Boris, he has a bite on his leg and it has formed an abcess & he is losing weight again but eating like a horse, so suspect his thyroid is out of control again, poor lad, more blood tests & jabs & will probably need an increase in medication.  Hope you have a reasonable day

Just a very quick visit - hubby still not well .  Heavy rain non stop today - the ground is saturated, so dark and depressing.  Hope I get a chance to spend more time when hubby improves.

Good afternoon, just come in soaked form the vets, it is really wild out there. Boris had bloods done for thyroxine levels, she agrees he probably out of control, will ring tomorrow with the results, then will have to go back for a private prescription for increased dose( get my prescriptions from Pet  Pharmacy - less then 1/2 price of vets). She gave him an antibiotic jab for the abcess and some anti-inflammatory for the pain, cost me £100  & wtill need to fork out for his vitalda pills!!! The pain & pleasure of having pets!!!!!

Had a busy day but sitting down now for a coffee!  2 carers we have are leaving due to the way the agency treat them so we don't know what's going to happen! Sorry to read so many people have illness in their families/pets right now. Dudley came in soaking wet earlier and promptly jumped on me for a cuddle - waiting to see what he does if we get snow!

I'm going out but it's blowing a gale and raining so I'm not going anywhere outdoors!! Dudley went out for about ten minutes then thought better of it and appeared back at the window to come in! Going to tidy Xmas stuff away when I get home as Dudley keeps attacking anything shiny!!  Hope everyone  is somewhere warm today x
