Feeling very sad. Secretly hoped marks sister or his mum would pop over but they didn't. Even my neighbour who had said she would join me for Xmas dinner has let me down. Just going to cook mark a roast dinner now-even he is asleep!

Good morning on Boxing Day

Debz - sorry you have been let down, I know that feeling too, and it hits hard when others lets us down, especially if they have made promises - sadly this happens far too often and can take us by surprise.

I am feeling a little better today, thanks Rosalind  xx

Hope today holds a little kindness xx

Good morning everyone. Today I am just getting back into my normal routine. Done the housework, washing and cleaned up. I have an hour of care tonight so looking forward to that. I hope everyone that's not feeling well get well soon.

Morning all, well that's Christmas day gone for another year thank goodness, I actually slept better last night, could have been the wine that helped, lol
We popped out earlier so Derek could go to the bookies, boxing day is his day for the horse racing, the co-op was opened so we got some fresh rolls for lunch.

Hi folks ... i was really cheesed off -I went to check my lotto numbers n the silly woman in Wilkinson's  had given me tickets for the Euro Lottery grrrrrr A waste of time that as I never buy one as the chances of winning are less than zero. I decided to check them .. and I have won on the Euro Lottery !!!!!!!!!!!!! ju098 ju098 ju098 ju098

Curious ??????????

I have won the grand sum of .... wait for it .................................. £2.90 !!
Wow, whatever will I do with that massive sum? It would buy me a latte in Pret with a whopping 80p over any suggestions what I should do with the 80p folks ?

Hope  you have better luck on the gee-gees Derek!

I have had my exercise for the day...almost .. no bus service today so I have been though the flat dumping (rubbish), dusting n hoovering,  sm9 sm9 sm9 just have the lounge to do now - plus my rubber door mat. Greyhound Max very kindly gave me a pressie when Bruv dropped me off yesterday after dinner .. he looked so worried I couldn't be angry, the dog that is, not Bruv...  got most of it off, just wanted to give a scrub in the yard with some disinfectant ... that can wait til after dinner - just trying to decide what to have, something hot I know ... quite fancy a jacket -got a bag of mixed spuds last week and I have a whopping spud in the bag  ... maybe some cheese n beans?

Good afternoon everyone and a belated  8348 from me. Had a very busy day yesterday, we did lunch for sixteen, hard work but everyone enjoyed it. We went to the Blackburn Rovers ground this morning to lay some flowers in the memorial garden for my brother, he was a die hard Rovers fan. Very worried about my Mum, she is a broken woman, please keep her in your prayers. My friend is doing tea tonight so having a lazy afternoon, hope the day is being kind to you all, take care, love Berniexxxx

Good Afternoon to Everyone,
Another Christmas over, thank goodness. Cancelled the family coming Christmas, George said he is just not up to it anymore, he is getting too tired for all of the fuss. So Kaila, my eldest had Roseanna and the kids there. My  youngest was at friends. We had a lovely, light lunch and George spent the last two days sleeping and resting. His stomach has been playing him up, he has to be careful after so many major ops on it. He is feeling a lot better today and gone to his day centre, they pick him up.
To be honest, whilst George was sleeping just spent time listening to online music with the headphones on and getting slowly plastered with rum and coke. Knew when to stop though, need to keep an eye on G.
Sorry for those who spent Christmas alone, and glad for those who had congenial company.
Take care everyone.
Just spending the day being grumpy, grrrrh, no, not really
