Its a lovely sunny day here in Redditch I am off the Morrisons  to

do my xmas shopping always leave things to the last moment save the stamps

all year so I can have a good spend for all the lovely goodies.

Have been going to bed early as I have been so tired.

Sorry to hear Daisy, Wendy and Annie that you are not well, hope you are all feeling better soon. I have had the results for my PET scan, which was because I had swollen gland. I have been told I will need to have all the glands on the left side of my neck removed. So I will be having an op in Jan. Had highlights put in my hair today, which cheered we up. Hope everyone has had a good day.

Good morning folks, the wind has dropped and it has stopped raining thank goodness. Not been able to get in for a couple of days, we had our Christmas meal Thursday and yesterday was taken up going to Mums and shopping. Ain't half dark now n the wind is getting up, I nearly got blown over in the city! I was walking past where QD used to be in St Stephens, the wind gets funneled under the canopy that sticks out - the wind caught my legs and I had to lean back to keep my balance!

Just been over the the charity shop to collect my raffle prize - it is a little book with pages for each month of the year, on each page is a pocket with a couple of cards/notelets -so now no excuses for missing birthdays etc as the pocket has a place to write birthdays etc - 50 raffle prizes and I squeaked in at number 42 lol

I have just been checking out the Carers Newspaper - there is a very interesting article on what to get people with dementia as a present and advice on how to go about it

Oh yucky yucky ! Just seen the weather n forecaast ...

Dull n wet here as I just found out when I went outside to read the gas meter..  Thinking of you all today, n hoping for a peaceful day for all of you.

Only thing I have planned is meet up with my friend at the hospital for her appointment, then when I get home, get the cakes iced n decorated. I expect the city will be heaving later so not looking forward to even passing through the city - I have to get two buses, one into the city and one out of to get to the hospital.

Good morning everyone,  here with strong winds and rain. Going to church for a requiem mass for my brother to coincide with the service in SA, other than that not sure what today will bring. Just hoping the weather eases before my other two brothers make the journey home from SA, should be arriving some time tomorrow hope there is no trouble landing when they get back. Wish me luck....I have to go to Tesco due to my home delivery last night minus a lot of my Xmas dinner ingredients not available. Just had to do a income support review form which has to be back by the 2nd January and I only got it Friday. It's really cold, windy and raining but at least no ice or snow! Hope everyone has a reasonable day.

Good morning, it is raining with gale force winds, I have been to the butchers for my order, been to the library, had my hair done & changed the bed & washed the bedding, just the cleaning to tackle now when I have a had a rest. Had a bad night, woke up  at 1.30am with my hip throbbing, had to get up take some analgesia & warm up my hot pack, thankfully it settled after an hour & I got back to sleep. Hope you have a good day. Thinking of you today Bernie, hope you gain some comfort from the mass for your brother & hope your brothers arrive safely

I hope all went well with the service for your brother Bernie. Thinking of you.

FAced the town center today with Liv so she could choose her sisters present. We then went to tescos with the dread of huge crowds. Surprisingly there were not many people in there! Lovely surprise we shopped without me having a panic attack or wanting to maim someone with a tesco own baguette!!! So proud of myself!!

Home, unpacked and with a cuppa now!!

Thank you for your kind messages, the service was lovely albeit very emotional but it was nice to have it in conjunction with the service in SA. Good morning, it is wet and windy  - no surprise there!!!! Hope your brothers land safely Bernie, I bet your spot on the radio was fine Wendy, look after yourself!!! Insurance assessor has been & oked the repair, so hopefully they will be able to get on with it after the hols. I have all the prep to do for dinner tomorrow, Callum and Rebecca are coming round this afternoon to help. We need to peel & chol the veg, make the stuffings, stuffing balls and pigs in blankets & set the table, then I can sit back and relax. I have a couple of cards  to deliver & then will take Callum's pressies round tonight. Hope you have a good day
