Hi everyone, Can't remember what stage things were at last time I posted. John was in hospital for almost 2 weeks, they found his stomach full of ulcers which were bleeding, gave him blood, which perked him up. Started treating the ulcers, but he only had 2 vomitting free days before they sent him home. The next day it all started again, so after anther argument with the GP, he was re-admitted and is still in the hospital. Then they said he had faecal impaction so gave him 2 enemas. Yesterday he was still feeling sick. I just seem to go round in circles, talking to doctors every day, saying we don't think they have found the main cause of the problem. I am losing all faith in their judgement. I am with John 24/7 and feel there is something they haven't found yet, but they seem reluctant to do more tests. I am not at all happy with this. It is emotionally exhausting, apart from all the driving every day to visit him. I am not sleeping very well. Can't stop things from buzzing round my head. We are both utterly cheesed off, to put it politely, with the whole episode. As soon as they take him off the drips and he starts eating and drinking again, the sickness comes back within a few hours.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with doctors and hospitals? p0923
