I wanted to share...
Spica chairs are very specialist and expensive to buy, starting around £200!
So....we were trawled online and we were sent plans from a lovely man in Australia about how to build a spica chair for Jessie!
Here she is trying it out for size...

I think Steven (Son in Law) did a great job!
It's bulky as it needs to take her and the full body cast but at least she will be able to play a wee bit with her toys instead of lying prone all the time.
Lisa (my daughter), decided to paint the table with a natty pink chalkboard paint we found in B & Q and all in all it still cost quite a bit -around £80- but much less than the basic models @ £200!
I wish we didn't need it at all but we do and it just shows how valuable the online community can be and how working together and chipping in can get the job done!
