What a beautiful baby Jessie is, she is sure enjoying her ice cream. We had a lovely day. We went to church this morning, all the fathers were given beautiful red roses for their buttonholes. Roseanna came with my two grandsons Moses and Josiah. Afterwards we went out for a lovely lunch. Kaila was ill, so couldn't make it. Leah bought George a lovely bow tie, he lost his last one, he calls it a batwing, and a CD of reggae tunes, which we havn't played yet. We are just having a quiet cup of tea and a sandwich now, after a long day. Lots of love. x Jeanne

I wanted to share...
Spica chairs are very specialist and expensive to buy, starting around £200!
So....we were trawled online and we were sent plans from a lovely man in Australia about how to build a spica chair for Jessie!
Here she is trying it out for size...
Image

I think Steven (Son in Law) did a great job!
It's bulky as it needs to take her and the full body cast but at least she will be able to play a wee bit with her toys instead of lying prone all the time.
Lisa (my daughter), decided to paint the table with a natty pink chalkboard paint we found in B & Q and all in all it still cost quite a bit -around £80- but much less than the basic models @ £200!
I wish we didn't need it at all but we do and it just shows how valuable the online community can be and how working together and chipping in can get the job done!

Hi guys, I'm afraid things haven't gone to plan for wee Jessica. The closed reduction surgery was unsccessful.
There was a chance this would be the case as it only had a 30% success rate for her type of dislocation.

She's back home and we're ok for now but she's going to need an open reduction type surgery next.
She's on the surgeons list and it should be within the next few weeks so please God this type of surgery works, it's more invasive but has a higher success rate.

Thanks for your support, prayers and kindness,
