There must be something "catching" about knitting squares, and someone else sewing them up.

The driver I was with today does a school run and he mentioned a few weeks ago to a passenger how one of the children loves having a blanket with her when she travels... The lady knitted some white, mid-pink, and deep pink squares and got one of her friends to sew them together, the little girl was over the moon with it...

Yes Myrna I'm sewing your lovely squares together, I don't mind doing the sewing, it's the knitting I don't like.

I hope that my few squares were received o.k. I had to take a guess at the postage, as the post office was closed and we were in a rush to post them before we went away. Sorry I couldn't sew them up. x Jeanne

That is lovely Maureen.
The funeral director really liked the blanket Miss Pears had made, but she was very pleased with what we had all done.

It's lovely to see all the photos - special thank you for sewing the squares as that's the bit I don't like.  Working together, it's a great result.

I wanted to thank you ever so much for the lovely knitting.
Some has already gone out to nursing homes in my area.  But the funeral directors are going to use the blankets we made to decorate the shop/office for our event on Friday.
I will get there about 11.30am to help them blow up the balloons and get the coffee out.
It is exciting hearing from the people that are going to join us and for those that can't be with us, we will take photos, and you will be in our thoughts.
