I'm just wondering, do we send the squares in and someone will sew them?

you can send the squares as they are, or join them together, whatever you want to do.

Liz, I think they will decide how big when they get the squares in.
The blanket I am doing is just a small knee blanket, like Christal did for me.
Everything is going to be different, they have already handed over lots of blankets to the nursing homes, it was in our paper the other day.
It is also in our local magazine that comes free to the door.

Honey, do not worry about not being able to do any squares... I have had days in the past when I found it hard to catch breath let alone anything else.

QD in St Stephens is still shut... I am not sure when or if they will open as there was small bit of white paper torn from the bottom of one of the posters where they blanked out the "April" bit and the shop is completely empty, just the pillars, no shelves or anything in it. Doesn't look as though they have even painted it...

I did go down I think (lol) Lower Goat Lane. There is an Arthritis Research Charity shop that has a good selection of wool at £1.50 per 100g ball.  I did pop into Wilks very briefly yesterday and they still have a very small amount/range of wool - £1.35 for 100g of DK, and they did have a couple of 100g balls of Aran for £1.75.

How odd Qd have not announced when or if they will be opening again,i saw like you Liz that there does not seem to be much going on in there,i shall miss it if it does not open again,i prefer that to Wilks.

Another place for wool at £1.45 i think it is,is the castle mall a book shop on the ground floor next to N&P b/society,inside the door near the till,
lots of colours and its double knit 100g.

It all sounds very interesting in your neck of the woods. Lower Goat Lane sounds very intriguing, I would like to know the origin of it. Did they used to drive goats down there. Sorry to get away from the topic. I do have about 6 squares and will try and do a couple more. x Jeanne

Honey,
for years and years, you have supported Chill, buying calanders, and other things.
It is great that you would like to knit, and we do understand.
Please dont worry at all, now it is our time to support you.

I have about 20 squares ready to send in.  As I have not been on site much lately I may have missed info on where to send them.  Can you send me a PM with the address please.
