Horace is fast becoming a cheeky little character, he will soon be ruling the roost if he's not already  sp0

Horace is adorable, I love to read about him.
Ross has taken his camera with him to take a photo of (I have forgotten his name now) but I dont think I dare share with you, because Horace is such a star.
Scruff will be getting excited with all these lovely dogs around.
Scruff is on a video on our front page.
You will have to make a video of Horace next.

Thank you all.
Here we go.

Day 5.
I woke up at 5.45am & realised that Horace was still quiet & lay there terrified that something was wrong, such relief when hubby came in from work 30 mins later to be greeted by much excited yelping from Horace. Phew!!
Yesterday Horace had his first groom or rather Horace decided that this was a new game called 'bite the brush'! I had got some lovely vanilla & coconut scented pet wipes so he may look a ragamuffin but at least he smells nice. I still gave him a treat in the hope that he will be more tolerant today.
It was wet yesterday so we didn't go outside to do lead training, this morning we tried again - basically just tug-of-war but at least he didn't try to wriggle out of it.
He has been full of beans & hasn't had a nap till now so Tinker has breathed huge sigh of relief & is now snoring on the settee.
It seems that a good game is taking his toys in to Tinker's bed, I think Horace expects Tinker to be a puppy too - no chance, sometimes poor Tinker looks at Horace with total disgust.  ::)

Hello, latest update from the Horace household. Hard to believe we have had him for a week.

Horace was a mini demon all weekend, he wouldn't leave Tinker's tail alone & kept eating things in the garden. We did have some lovely cuddles though.
He did very well with his lead training & is getting used to being groomed. The best bit was watching Dancing on Ice goes Gold last night. Horace started watching it & barked at Philip Schofield (he hadn't noticed the TV before).

We have had a bit of a drama this afternoon. My son with OCD was cuddling Horace & when he bent down to put him on the floor Horace jumped & couldn't stand on one of his front paws. I was really frightened that he had broken his leg. I have just got back from the vet. Horace has a soft tissue injury & is limping. He had a painkilling injection & has to rest for 3 days. Hopefully no lasting damage.
My son is now in a terrible state & frightened to touch Horace again despite us reassuring him that things like this happen. It took my son several days to feel confident enough to handle Horace anyway.
Hope to bring you better news tomorrow.

Poor little Horace hurting his leg, I remember years ago when we had our dog she jumped out of my arms and did something similar to Horace.
Hope your son gets his confidence handling Horace back soon.

Hello,

Sorry about the lack of updates about Horace but I have been really busy with the added problem of my mum being in hospital.

Horace is absolutely fine now thank you. He is full of mischief. At the moment he is attacking a cereal box - handy free puppy toy ideal for chewing. He has just taken it in to Tinker's bed, Tinker is of course, on the settee out of harms way!!

For about 10 minutes yesterday evening when Tinker was asleep in his bed Horace crept in & curled up with him, they looked so cute but I daren't move to get my camera in case I disturbed them, then Horace did the inevitable & started chewing Tinker's tail so that was the end of that  sp0

I am so happy to have him here, he is hard work but a little bundle of joy to cuddle & cheer me up  45'
