Hi All

Just a reminder for you all about our meet up at The Great Northern Hotel in Peterborough just by the railway station.  The date of the meet up is 14th October 2010
Please can you let us know if you are able to attend by putting a message on the boards so that we have an idea of the numbers of people who are going to be there.

We know that some of you may have to make arrangements for the people that you look after but it would be great to see you there should you be able to make it.

Train & hotel booked , arrive 5.30pm wed13th & catch 2.56pm train back home 14th.

I'm driving there as it's only about 69 miles from mine and for the timing for carers for Louize it's more convenient for me.

I wonder if anyone else wants to join us.  Peterborough is on the main rail link from the North and from London.
The hotel is a step away from the station.  No taxi needed.

Grommit was on last night and in asking him, he had booked the train so it looks as if they are coming as well.

Hi all,

Have signed up for Peterborough meet and ordered train tickets. However, I need to explain that my Mother in Law is ill in hospital. She is 96 years old and things are not looking terribly good for her at this time although she is hanging on in there, complete with wires and tubes.

Depending on her condition I may have to cancel at last minute but I am sure everyone will understand.

Failing that, Jean and I will be there on the 14th.

It's done. I shall be staying at the City centre Travel Lodge which is only a mile from the Great Northern. I shall be staying for two nights, the 13th & the 14th . It will give me the opportunity to look around the City & will make it a short break for me as well. I'm coming on the train....I look forward to seeing my friends.
