Thanks Tim.  that is great news.
I will really go to work on it on Monday afternoon, when people will be at work.
I will also be able to bring this up at the talk with the Rotary.
I have let the papers know.

Like some of you will already know we have given some out to members of PRTC and CUK and even to some carers who did not have the internet, but were desperate to get on.

So any carer who wants one does not have to be a member of chill but they will find it more helpful if they are and it is easier for us as well.  They will receive any group pm's that we send out about the laptops.

from Lynn Hudson

^^^^CONGRATULATIONS. I have just looked at the site and sent the details to my M.P. Dan Rogerson who really works for his Cornish Community here. Also told him about the Norman Lamb meeting on Line. I shall send the site address to other businesses who I scrounged things from when I worked in the voluntary sector. Now the weather is looking more promising I hope you feel some warmth at least. L.O.L. and a big hug to all. Lynn

Lynn's MP has got back to us and also the Sheriff of Norwich is going to be putting something in the paper for us.
If you have a few minutes to contact your MP to let him know, we would be very pleased.
We will be meeting with Norman Lamb tomorrow and letting him know.

Keeping you up to date.

I have written to 4 newspapers down in the south of the country.  If they put the article in the paper, then we have carers who will pick them up and distribute them to carers in their area.
The people with the lap tops will respond to our website and then we contact the carers, but these laptops will not come to Norfolk.
The Sheriff of Norwich has contacted me and he will be putting something in our local Norfolk paper, so we must keep our fingers crossed.

Keeping you up to date.

LG, Bobby and Tonyb are acting as agents in Cornwall and Devon.  They are contacting lots of businesses or trying to get the website in their local paper then they will collect any laptops and distribute them to carers near to them.
We are very grateful for their help.
