With sadness

I am afraid I have to report a sad and distressing sequence of events relating to my self.

Since Christmas I have been attending our local Hospital and undergoing tests for various ailments. The latest tests included CT scans, blood tests and the like and yesterday I got the results.

Basically these fall into 3 categories:-

1) Gastro problems which will need endoscopic investigation.

2) Blood clots on both lungs for which I am self injecting blood thinning medication and

3) Extensive and inoperable liver cancer the prognosis of which will be available following a biopsy early next week.

At this stage I have no idea what will happen and how long I have left so I am taking this opportunity to thank all members of Chill for their advice, fun and laughter which I have gained from using the site and meeting the members over the last few years.

I will endeavour to keep you informed of progress but thank you all again for the good times.
