I have a lump in the scar in my neck, have been to the doctors and he thought it might be an infection, so gave me anti biotics. He also faxed a letter to my consultant, who I saw today. The consultant decided to do a biopsy on the lump in my neck, I am in pain, so have taken some pain killers. I will have a CT scan and ultrasound in the New Year. The consultant thinks the lump is in the same place as the last time, if so it can be removed. There will only be a problem if the scan finds more than one lump or this lump is too near the main artery to my head. So will have to wait and see what the investigations show. He was sorry to spoil my Christmas, I said there was nothing I could do about it, so would do my best to enjoy Christmas. I said to the consultant, I was giving him the responsibility to sort it out, he said that was what he was there for. So will see him after my CT scan, to get the results of the biopsy and find out what the scan shows.

CT scan went alright, had to have dye put in, it makes you go all warm and want to wee, not a good feeling do877 . Need to ring consultant 's secretary tomorrow, so I can be put into his next clinic and get the results.

So glad it went well and good luck for the results.
