I Am Off To Edinburgh

Postby Rosalind » 23 Nov 2015, 21:55

Going to Edinburgh tomorrow till Thursday with my friend Ann. Going to visit the Christmas market in Princess Gardens, while we are there. I booked up with super break and have first class return train tickets, two nights bed and breakfast and first night evening meal included. My brother Alex and sister Heather going to look after mum and Milo, do not think mum is very happy. Never mind, I am really looking forward to my break and having a girlie time with Ann.
Will look forward to reading all the posts I have missed on Thursday night. Take care of yourselves.

Had a great time in Edinburgh, weather was cold but it was sunny. We looked around the shops, we also visited the Christmas market, there were some lovely stalls, bought a Tea light holder. Had a walk up the Royal Mile, bought some shortbread biscuits in the shape of Scottie dogs. On Princess Street, we saw a lot of beggers, had never seen so many beggers on one street before, one had three dogs with him. The train journey was lovely, as we went along the coast, the scenery was lovely. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. A good time was had by all.
