For once I was a passenger with Door-to-Door as I took up the offer of a spare seat, though I would love to go back again to see it and take my time and not have to rush.
Accessibility was an issue as a lot was on grass, even though it was flat. It was heavy pushing for some –I did help to push a wheelchair for a while but my shoulders started aching so I packed it in, as they still play me up from pushing Dad's wheelchair...
Tea n cakes were lovely … all homemade cakes, and the event was in aid of Alzheimer’s (the driver of the bus I was on has a reputation for making cakes and I was lucky enough to get a bit … yum!)
I took quite a few pics, the colours of the rhododendrons were amazing !

There was a big van selling plants etc, and I couldn’t resist - I came away with a patio tomato plant… it has quite a few tomatoes on it already, and when I got up this am I already had my first tomato… albeit a miniscule one that must have dropped off during the night lol
