Thank you all for your Birthday wishes. They really are very much appreciated.

One thing I have noticed about getting older is that I now have to keep a stock of Get Well Soon cards instead of other cards to send to my friends who are ill or hospitalised.

I shall now go and sample a bottle of fire water which one of my friends has sent from Scotland and then try and find the stairs to go to bed.

Perhaps you may remember the method children used to find out who was "on" for a game, 1 potato, 2 potato, 3, potato , 4 etc.

I have devised my own, 1 scotch whisky, 2 scotch whisky, 3 scotch whisky, Floor.
