mum having cateract removed next week

Postby Honey » 24 Jun 2016, 00:27

Got a cancellation slot for next week.
I know its not a big issue for many
but for family unpaid working carers it is.
Have managed to get short notice annual leave from work to take her to hospital and stay with her.
Thankfully my employer is aware of my circumstances and is very supportive.
Hoping OH can get short notice Annual leave from his work to stay with our daughter while I am with mum
Hoping I can get suitable transport arranged there and back at short notice.
Mum almost totally blind now and needs this so much.
Her consultant is very supportive and helpful.
