What would you do?

Postby wendy » 05 Apr 2015, 21:19

This is a true story and was told to me today by a friend.
I was shocked to hear how she coped with the situation but it made me think, how difficult it must have been for her.
Her relatives live hundreds of miles away.

What would you do if your alcoholic husband came home from the pub with a woman. Both drunk out of their minds, and he had never met the woman before.
They begin to copulate on the settee in front of the wife.
What would you do?

Think that's what I would do, or get a pair of garden shears out of the shed ?

Remember how frightened she must have felt with two of them against her.

Probably hit them with the cast iron frying pan, then at the earliest opportunity, start divorce proceedings

They were both big people and she is a small woman.
She never did divorce him.
But I will tell you what she did later, and I was shocked, but it made me think, how frightened she must have been.
It was the middle of the night.

That poor woman.

i should think she left out of shock!

iwould have left then gone home set fire to the couch and taken a blunt rusty knife to his penis!

I hope she made him pay. What ashame she had no family support and didn't divorce him.

She did what we are all told not to do, she left the house.
When she came back the next day, she had to break into the house and the woman had gone.
My thoughts were she could have contacted the police for help, but who knows what we would do in such circumstances in the middle of the night when it is two people against you.
He lived for a few more years and died at home with his family around the bed.

I think we all would react differently and nobody knows how this lady was feeling at that particular time, I would imagine she left the house to protect herself.

Such a shame.

In hind site calling the police would have been betterand staying Iin the house but like you say no one would be thinking rationally and she needed to protect herself.

I do hope that life has been kinder to her since. She certainly deserves happiness and peace.

my thought are with her
