Try not to worry Wendy, its probably best if you do some research beforehand to find what would be suitable for you, rather than wait for them to suggest. If you hand them a few suggestions they can investigate availability, some of the suppliers recover equipment and install as used items so the full price isn't required. There should be grants available too if your current benefits don't apply. It does depend on your OT though and what knowledge they have in these areas.

the latest news on this saga,
SS told me today, that maybe I could buy one of those balloon things that inflate to let you into the bath and help you out of it.
I told her I could not afford it as I know they are a lot of money, and I am on pension credit.

They cost £500, about the same price as the other ones, so I don't see why they cannot p[rovide one, I really fell for you, it is ridiculous

Thinking of you Wendy.
They should provide you with one. Absolutely ridiculous that they expect you to pay.

just a possibility.

I have received the report from the social services OT
some of the things she has put down are not true so next week, when I feel a bit better, I will have to write and ask them to change it.
Or should I leave it and just let it be, they are not going to help me - full stop.
She had put down, that I had refused an operation, when I have not been offered one.
That was only one thing sh put down which was untrue.

I know it is hard and you are so upset by this but even if you think they will still say no you might want to think about the amendments. If in the future you decide to try again those inaccuracies may come back and bite you on the bum!
We have let things pass like this in the past and have the butt scars to prove it!!!
Leave it til you feel stronger and more able to deal with it.
So sorry you have been treated like this Wendy. It is despicable.
Thinking of you and sending you a giant supportive hu****

Wendy is that the same report they got your date of birth wrong, they are so incompetent a monkey could do a better job.
If you know for sure they are not going to help you then don't get anymore stressed over it, put it to one side,
