Hi guys, prayers are desperately needed. We are struggling, our wee grand-baby Jessica has been diagnosed with DDH. It's a hip problem that sound have been found at birth but has been missed and missed over the last 15 months.
She will need ops and a Spica cast for 6 months minimum and then rehab to learn her to walk again. Wee soul will be in stooky from her chest to her ankles!
We're so upset NHS consistently missed this, (it happened at birth) and it would've been easier on the wee soul if they'd found it sooner but there it is.

Say a wee prayer for us, the seizure levels are up too, with Coo - stress I expect this time.

Hi guys, we've had word on the first surgery date. Jessies's definately going in on the 25th for the first op and Spica cast.
We're struggling a bit as Coo is stressed about things and we have an increase in seizures to boot!

I think on one hand the quicker this begins the better and maybe things will settle a little but it's so very difficult too.
